In October 2010, Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, will celebrate its 1000 year anniversary, and with a huge celebration like this,
the people of Hanoi will stretch it out to 10 full days from October 1 through the grand finale October 10, however we will only share
the last few days of this giant anniversary celebration.
The official anniversary event schedule has not been released yet, so our itinerary is still in the planning stages, but we will definitely be in Hanoi for the prime parts of this fantastic celebration, and so should you.
This is a tour you will not want to miss! Vietnam and China!
Group size will be limited to 10 people, so you'll want to sign
up early to guarantee your spaces.
We plan a 15 day tour which, in addition to the 1000 year anniversary celebrations, will include a city tour of Hanoi, including
local craft villages, visits to Tam Coc and Sapa, and of course the World Heritage site of Halong Bay for an overnight
cruise through stunning scenery. It's easy to pass 15 days in the Hanoi area, but we are offering an option.
Option 1) 15 days
in northern Vietnam in addition to sights mentioned above, Hue, DMZ and Vin Moc tunnels with more time in the northwest region
of ethnic minority groups.
Option 2) 5 days around Hanoi area as mentioned, then cross the border for 10 days in
