Day 18) Drive from Sapa to Lao Cai the Chinese border crossing. Continue into China with one of our China Tours, or drive back along the Red River to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 19) Hanoi, free time, prepare for departures. Evening farewell dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 20) End of tour. Transfer to airport for departure or continue traveling.

Day 15) Continue Northwest tour to either Dien Bien Phu or Son La. Overnight.

Day 1) Arrive Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2) Hanoi city tour. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 3) Halong Bay. Overnight on the boat
Day 4) Halong Bay-Hanoi. Evening Waterpuppet Show. Overnight in Hanoi
Day 5) Hoa Lu and Tam Coc. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6) Fly to Danang, transfer to Hoi An a quaint old river front town. This was once the major trading port on the Asian coast. A quiet place to stroll along streets lined with shops and cafes, and enjoy the placid riverfront, and the picturesque Japanese Bridge. Maybe even take a cooking class. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7) Visit the ancient Cham ruins at My son. Dating from the 8th to 11th centuries, these are a true testament to their builders having survived Chinese, Khmer, Vietnamese and American attacks. Considered to be Champa's smaller counterpart to Angkor Wat in Cambodia and Ayuthaya in Thailand. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8) Marble Mountains and China Beach. The five Marble Mountains are the source of the marble for Ho Chi Minhs Tomb in Hanoi, and have numerous natural caves used as Hindu and Buddhist sanctuaries. Various pathways connect the caves and offer vistas over the South China Sea. A visit to nearby China Beach is a must. This was famous during the American war as an
